YCI Underground Dinner Series

YCI launched it’s Inaugural Fundraising Dining Experience last Thursday night.

Hosted and organized by YCI’s board members, dinner guests met at a downtown Toronto street corner with little information other than the promise of an exciting night. Instructed to look for a mysterious woman holding carrots and to give her a password, guests were then guided to a top-secret location to take part in the first night of a secret dinner series.

The secret location was a private residence beautifully decorated with eclectic art from every edge of the world, the perfect fit for a night of discussing international development and YCI’s programs and initiatives.

A great evening of dining was had by the guests, YCI staff and our Board Members. (Steph, Lindsay, Jane, Daniel, Julius and Paritosh)

Without a doubt the star of the night was chef Elias Salazar who graced the crowd with his unforgettable Peruvian delicacies. Keep an eye out for his restaurant opening in 2013 on Queen West. Thank you to everyone who participated, the night was a great success!
